“Ecocentrism”

Ecocentrism derived from the Biocentrism, which means it only focused in importance or equality of Human, Animal, and living things and disregard the importance of non-living things. So that’s why ecocentrism exist. But thanks to the biocentrism because non-living things was appreciated by people because they realized what about those non-living things they also have a big essence in our daily life like living things meet their needs from non-living things. For example Plants(living) is nothing without water(non-living), sunlight(non-living), land(non-living) or anything that plants relies on. And the good thing for that is for one non-living thing is not only for one single use only for living thing but almost living things can benefit its functions.

Why we need to add to the groups of Human, Animal, and Living things the non-living things, it’s necessary?

Yes because first of all Living things like human, animals o etc are dependent to non-living things, like they cannot stand alone and by its own, especially as human, we cannot do anything without it, if you deny it or not, yes we can’t. According to Gray J, Whyte I and Curry P (2018) “Ecocentrism sees the ecosphere – comprising all Earth’s ecosystems, atmosphere, water and land – as the matrix which birthed all life and as life’s sole source of sustenance. It is a worldview that recognizes intrinsic value in ecosystems and the biological and physical elements that they comprise, as well as in the ecological processes that spatially and temporally connect them.”

Which means that Non-living things is a source for all earthly things because by its own definition it is clear that earth is made from this.

That’s my stand for this topic about ethical issues in relation to a natural environment. I may be too dumb for you but thats my point of view. How about yours? Lets see where you stand by comment section below. Good night guys, and wait for my next blog byeeee.
